본 문서는 Peekabody 앱이 개인정보 및 기기 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명하는 개인정보처리방침입니다. Google Play 및 App Store 등록정보, 앱 안 설정 화면에서 이 페이지로 연결됩니다.
1. 앱 소개
Peekabody는 만 3–5세 아동을 위한 교육용 카메라 놀이 앱입니다. 카메라 미리보기에 가상의 엑스레이·초음파 연출과 캐릭터를 겹쳐 보여 줍니다. 본 앱은 의료기기가 아니며, 실제 엑스레이·초음파·진단 기능을 제공하지 않습니다.
2. 아동의 개인정보
본 앱은 어린이를 주 대상으로 합니다. 아동의 이름, 사진, 위치, 연락처, 계정 정보 등 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 계정 가입, 소셜 로그인, 채팅, 광고 ID 수집이 없습니다. 부모/보호자가 부모 설정에서 놀이 옵션을 관리할 수 있습니다. 아동 대상 앱으로서 Google Play Families 정책 및 관련 아동 개인정보 보호 원칙을 따릅니다.
3. 수집하는 정보 / 수집하지 않는 정보
본 앱은 계정을 만들지 않으며, 다음을 수집하지 않습니다.
- 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 주소, 생년월일
- 사진·영상을 개발자 서버 또는 제3자 서버로 업로드
- 위치(GPS), 연락처, 마이크 녹음, 캘린더
- 광고 식별자, 분석·추적 프로필
앱 기능 유지를 위해 기기 안에서만 다루는 정보는 다음과 같습니다.
- 카메라 미리보기: 실시간 화면 표시와 놀이 연출에만 사용합니다. 갤러리에 저장하지 않으며 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 플래시 제어를 위해 일시적으로 촬영 파일을 만들었다가 즉시 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 앱 설정·스티커 진행: 부모 설정, 스티커 획득 여부 등은 기기 내부 저장소(SharedPreferences 등)에만 남습니다.
4. 권한
- 카메라: 미리보기·놀이 기능에 필요합니다. 거부하면 해당 기능을 사용할 수 없습니다.
- 인터넷: 스토어에 필수 업데이트가 있는지 확인하기 위해 공개 버전 파일만 요청합니다. 사진·개인정보를 보내지 않습니다.
5. 정보의 이용 목적
- 카메라 미리보기 및 교육용 연출 제공
- 부모 설정·스티커 도감 등 앱 기능 유지
- 필수 업데이트 여부 확인(공개 version.json 조회)
광고, 프로파일링, 판매 목적의 이용은 하지 않습니다.
6. 제3자 제공·판매·SDK
본 앱은 개인정보를 제3자에게 판매·임대하지 않습니다. 광고 SDK, 분석 SDK, 소셜 로그인 SDK를 사용하지 않습니다.
업데이트 확인 시 앱은 Firebase Hosting(Google)에 호스팅된 공개 파일 (version.json)을 요청합니다. 이 요청 과정에서 호스팅 제공자가 웹 전송에 통상적으로 포함되는 기술 정보 (IP 주소, 기기/브라우저 식별의 일부, 시각)를 처리할 수 있습니다. 저희는 이 정보를 광고나 이용자 식별에 사용하지 않으며, 사진이나 계정 정보를 첨부하지 않습니다.
스토어로 이동하거나 본 방침을 열 때 기기의 브라우저/스토어 앱이 열릴 수 있습니다. 그때의 처리는 해당 서비스의 정책을 따릅니다.
7. 보관 및 삭제
설정·스티커 데이터는 사용자 기기에만 보관됩니다. 서버에 이용자 계정을 두지 않습니다. 앱을 삭제하거나 기기 설정에서 앱 데이터를 지우면 기기 내 저장 정보도 함께 삭제됩니다. 삭제 관련 문의는 batontouch365@gmail.com으로 연락해 주세요.
8. 보안
카메라 영상과 설정은 기기 안에서 처리됩니다. 업데이트 확인 통신은 HTTPS를 사용합니다.
9. 이용자(보호자) 권리
열람·정정·삭제·처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 서버에 개인 프로필을 저장하지 않으므로 대부분의 경우 앱 삭제 또는 앱 데이터 삭제로 처리됩니다.
10. 방침 변경
데이터 처리 방식이 바뀌면 본 페이지를 수정하고 상단의 최종 업데이트 날짜를 갱신합니다.

Peekabody Privacy Policy
This page is the Privacy Policy for the Peekabody mobile application. It is published at a stable public URL and is also linked from the app (Parent settings) and from the store listing.
1. What Peekabody is
Peekabody is an educational camera-play app for children ages 3–5. It overlays playful “x-ray / ultrasound” style graphics and characters on the live camera preview. It is not a medical device and does not perform real medical imaging or diagnosis.
2. Children’s privacy
The app is directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, including names, photos for upload, location, contacts, or account data. There is no sign-up, no social login, no chat, and no advertising identifier collection. A parent/guardian can manage play options in Parent settings. We design the app to align with Google Play Families requirements and child-privacy principles (including not selling children’s data and not using it for behavioral advertising).
3. Information we collect and do not collect
We do not create accounts and we do not collect:
- Name, email, phone number, address, or date of birth
- Photos or videos uploaded to our servers or to third-party servers
- Precise location, contacts, microphone recordings, or calendar data
- Advertising IDs or analytics/tracking profiles
Information handled only on the device:
- Camera preview: used in real time for the play overlay. We do not save images to the gallery and we do not upload camera frames. A capture file may be created briefly to control the flash and is deleted immediately.
- Settings and sticker progress: stored locally on the device (for example SharedPreferences).
4. Permissions
- Camera: required for preview and play. If denied, that feature cannot run.
- Internet: used only to fetch a public version file to see if a required store update exists. No photos or personal profiles are sent.
5. How we use information
- To show the camera preview and educational overlays
- To keep parent settings and the sticker book working
- To check whether a required app update is available
We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or sale.
6. Sharing, sale, and third parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. The current version does not include advertising, analytics, or social-login SDKs.
For update checks, the app requests a public file hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google) at version.json. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical data involved in serving a web request (such as IP address, user-agent, and time). We do not use that for ads or user profiling, and we do not attach photos or account data to the request.
If you open this policy or the store listing, the device may launch a browser or store app. Those services process data under their own policies.
7. Retention and deletion
Settings and sticker data stay on the user’s device. We do not keep user accounts on a server. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes that local information. For deletion questions, email batontouch365@gmail.com.
8. Security
Camera frames and settings are processed on-device. The update-check request uses HTTPS.
9. Your rights
A parent or user may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction. Because we do not store a personal profile on our servers, deleting the app or clearing app data is the usual way to remove local data.

If our data practices change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
